Personnebadet is an outdoor swimming pool which is only open during the summer. Right next to it there’s a big lawn where you can sunbathe. There’s two pools, one bigger and one smaller for the younger kids, there is also a little playground for kids. The swimming pool was opened in 1961 and is named after personnevägen, a street which is named after Nills Personne who was an actor and director. The pool is 12,5 x 25 m long and 100-140 cm deep. How warm the water is depends on the whether since they use solar panels to warm up the water. It’s a good way to have fun during the summer when you’re on a budget since it’s free. There are lifeguards that can provide protection to kids and also the other people. In addition it is equipped with changing rooms and outdoor showers. There is also an outdoor gym located close to the pool.
